New in 2023: 1,000 young women in the program
As part of the 5th edition of MTL connect, which will be held from October 10 to 13, 2023, Montreal Digital Spring (PN) is launching registrations for its Explore MTL connect program, which focuses on the accessibility of digital knowledge.
Completely free, Explore MTL connect is an online program for young people between 18 and 35 from developing countries who have a background or interest in new technologies.
1,000 young women
This year, Montreal Digital Spring has the ambition to invite 1,000 young women to take part in the program. To this end, sessions will be specially oriented for women interested in technology with the presentation of success stories, inspiring career paths, and opportunities for professional development.
What is Explore MTL connect?
Explore MTL connect is a free online program for young people between 18 and 35 years old from developing countries interested in sharing their skills and consolidating their knowledge in digital transformation.
The program is even more relevant this year as the main theme of the 2023 edition is Collective Intelligence. Montreal Digital Spring aims to promote an inclusive society and emphasize the importance of ensuring that people from all backgrounds, especially young people, can participate in international and large-scale forums like MTL connect.
Explore MTL connect is also an opportunity for young people from different developing countries to connect with the actors of the Quebec ecosystem. In 2022, more than 2,300 youth from 58 countries participated in the program.
Who can participate in the program?
Eligibility Criteria:
The masculine generic is used without discrimination and only for the purpose of lightening the text.
- You are aged between 18 and 35 years old;
- You are an entrepreneur, student or researcher;
- You have an interest in digital technology, technologies related to AI, cybersecurity, cultural and creative industries, mobility, health, energy efficiency or agritech;
- You come from a developing country (in Asia, Africa, Latin America, or the Caribbean).
