An event with an international scope that aims to address the digital field in a transversal way, through its economic, social, cultural and environmental impacts in various sectors of activity.

MTL connect will take place from October 15 to 23, 2022 in a hybrid format.

The PRO program will take place from October 17 to 21, at 7 Fingers, Montreal and online.
The free public programming will take place in various locations in Montreal.

A majority of the content will be available online. Full hybrid and daily pass holders will be able to attend the event in person.

The event will run in EDT but sessions will display based on the time zone your browser is set to. The time zone you specified during registration is displayed for networking purposes.

MTL connect 2022 will take place in a hybrid format: online and in Montreal*.

*Subject to health conditions. The event will take place with strict respect of sanitary measures that will be requested by the government at the time of the event.

  • Wednesday, October 19: Cybersecurity and digital identity + Disruptive innovations
  • Thursday, October 20: Work and education of tomorrow + Resilience and the future of the city

Our program includes conferences, expert panels, workshops, networking, virtual booths, virtual exhibition, etc.

  • Conferences:
    Speeches by speakers sometimes punctuated by question and answer periods. Offered online and in person.
  • Expert Panels:
    See experts from different disciplines come together to discuss a given theme and raise questions related to it.
  • Workshops:
    Presentation by a speaker around a particular theme. Offered online and in person.
  • Networking:
    Moments in the program dedicated to connecting with each other at the event. Offered online and in person.
  • Business Booths:
    Find all of the companies and organizations participating in MTL connect 2022 as virtual booths in the EXHIBITORS button. Companies will also exhibit their technological innovations in person.

The PRO programming will take place at 7 doigts, Montreal.

The general public program will take place in different places in Montreal that we will communicate later.

All sessions except the Workshops will be recorded and available on the platform a few days after the end of the event.

Please note that only Full Pass and VIP Full Pass holders will have access to the recorded content for a period of six months following the event.

MTL connect is an international event. Some content is in French and some in English.

In order to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, the MTL connect team follows and enforces the following government measures:

Wearing a mask or face covering from the nose to under the chin is mandatory in enclosed or partially enclosed public places for persons 10 years of age and older. Consult the government regulations on wearing masks;
Vaccination passport will be required to come to our outdoor site. Upon arrival, you must present your valid vaccination passport* (with QR code) and photo identification.

*Persons who do not reside in Quebec will have to present a proof of identity with photo and address outside Quebec as well as the official vaccination proof, provided by their country or Canadian province, attesting that they have received two doses of a recognized vaccine.

A physical distance of 1 m between people of different residences must be respected at all times inside and public spaces.
