Montreal, April 22, 2024 — For the 5th consecutive year, Printemps numérique (Montreal Digital Spring) will present the MTL Tech Awards during its annual event, MTL connect: Montreal Digital Week, taking place from October 15th to 18th, 2024. On this occasion, innovative companies, organizations, institutions, and individuals are invited to submit their entries to present their projects in front of a panel of expert judges. Multiple awards are up for grabs.
MTL Tech Awards is an international competition in digital innovation aimed at promoting innovative projects, ideas, and individuals from Montreal, Quebec, and beyond. The awards ceremony will take place at the NAD-UQAC School (Montreal) on Thursday, October 17th, 2024.

1.INNOVATION AWARD
This award celebrates the creativity and innovation of businesses locally and internationally.
2.WOMEN IN TECH AWARD
This award celebrates female leadership in impactful organizations and businesses.
3. YOUTH DIGITAL LITERACY AWARD
This award highlights projects that contribute to the development of digital skills in young Quebecers.
4. FRANCOPHONE CULTURAL DISCOVERABILITY AWARDThis award aims to reward projects that promote discoverability of Francophone cultural content.

- Tuesday, October 15, 2024 : Finalist presentations in front of the jury and an audience of industry professionals on the MTL connect main stage (at NAD-UQAC school, Montreal).
- Thursday, October 17, 2024 : Awards ceremony and presentation live on the MTL connect main stage (at NAD-UQAC school, Montreal).
Conditions of entry
Be able to travel to NAD-UQAC school, Montreal, on October 15 for the presentation and on October 17 for the awards ceremony.
INNOVATION AWARD
- Participate as an entrepreneur or project leader in one of the following categories: start-up, NPO, SME or large enterprise;
- Enter your project that will change tomorrow’s habits in one of the 4 topics of MTL connect 2024.
WOMEN IN TECH AWARD
- Participate as a woman in a leadership position in a company, association or as an investor;
- Support collective initiatives and more sustainable and equitable practices, thanks to new technologies and digital tools;
- Enter your technology project in one of the 4 topics of MTL connect 2024.
YOUTH DIGITAL LITERACY AWARD
- Participate as a company, institution, organization or school;
- Work, for instance, with young people in Quebec;
- Present a digital literacy project in one of the following sectors: education, citizenship or culture.
FRANCOPHONE CULTURAL DISCOVERABILITY AWARD
- Participate as a non-profit, for-profit or cooperative legal entity;
- Work in the field of discoverability of French-language cultural content.
