Francophone Cultural Discoverability Award
Submit a project that advances the discoverability of Francophone cultural content.
This award is open to legal entities, including non-profit organizations, for-profit companies, and cooperatives, that are active in promoting the visibility and accessibility of Francophone cultural content online.
Eligibility
- Profile: Legal entity (for-profit or non-profit) or cooperative.
- Commitment: Specifically working to increase the visibility of and access to Francophone cultural content.
- Themes: The project must align with one of the 4 pillars of MTL connecte 2026: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity & Digital Identity, Culture & Creativity, Territories & Humanities
Selection criteria
- Impact on discoverability: Ability to optimize the circulation and search engine optimization of French-language works on digital platforms.
- Technological innovation: Creative use of emerging technologies (AI, the Semantic Web, metadata, etc.).
- Linguistic vitality: Active contribution to cultural diversity and promotion of underrepresented voices (e.g., Indigenous cultures, regions).
- Universal accessibility: Inclusion of audiences with disabilities and reduction of geographic or socioeconomic barriers.
