Printemps numérique (PN) wants to promote a more inclusive digital world by encouraging young people from all backgrounds to take part in major events like MTL connecte.
Through the Explore MTL connecte accessibility program, PN aims to create new opportunities that strengthen connections between Quebec and the international community, while also helping to support long-term economic development.
Explore MTL connecte is a free online program for young people aged 18 to 35 from developing countries who are interested in sharing knowledge and learning more about digital transformation.
In 2024, the program brought together 4,216 participants from 45 countries, including 2,324 young women. A total of 23 partner organizations, mostly based in developing countries, helped make the program possible.
"We’re proud to offer a program that continues to grow in interest year after year. We’re especially pleased with the strong partnerships we’re building with organizations and institutions based in our target countries, which help increase our impact and strengthen international collaboration. Through our accessibility program, we aim to boost North-South partnerships, support knowledge sharing, and encourage new forms of cooperation."
Mehdi Benboubakeur, Directeur Général du Printemps numérique
