AI & HEALTH RESEARCH TRAINING
Printemps numérique, in collaboration with Humaniteq, has launched a brand new training course on AI & Health research.
Aimed at undergraduate and graduate health students, the training program promotes science and innovation in the French-speaking world through the production of audio modules and hybrid workshops.
In 2024, three audio modules were produced and broadcast. An inaugural workshop was held during MTL connects 2024. In 2025, 5 more modules will be released, so stay tuned!
This initiative would not have been possible without the support of our partners: the NovaScience from the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie du Québec (MEIE), the Fond de recherche du Québec, le Centre de recherche Azrieli du CHU Sainte-Justine, École de l’intelligence artificielle en santé du CHUM, the Faculté de médecine de l’Université de Montréal, the Consortium Santé Numérique de l’Université de Montréal, Génome Québec, Montréal InVivo, the Réseau de Recherche en Santé des Populations (RRSPQ) and la Société Québécoise de l’Intelligence Artificielle en Médecine.
PRINTEMPS NUMÉRIQUE
It’s not just our projects that have been crowned with success!
Our Executive Director, Mehdi Benboubakeur, was decorated Officer of the Order of the Crown of Belgium, by Royal Decree on May 25, 2024.
The award, presented on November 27, 2024 by Geert Vansintjan, Consul General of Belgium in Montreal, was in recognition of his role in strengthening ties between Quebec and Belgium, and his commitment to an inclusive and responsible digital world.
A wonderful recognition for Mehdi and the whole team!
In 2024, the rise of generative artificial intelligence has redefined creativity and efficiency, while posing crucial ethical challenges. The regulation and responsible use of these technologies have become essential to guarantee collective, ethical, equitable and sustainable benefits.
