MTL CONNECT 2023 : At the heart of digital transformation for 5 years

Montreal, October 26, 2023 – The 5th anniversary edition of MTL connect took place from October 10 to 13, 2023, at the NAD School, Montreal and online. More than ever, this edition left its mark on the digital industry landscape. Through the voices of over 10,000 participants, including 2,454 in-person attendees, it’s clear that the event not only provided a platform for quality meetings, but also emerged as a space for strengthening ties between Quebec and the global francophone community.  Montreal Digital Spring (Printemps numérique) invites all participants in the 2023 edition to (re)experience the event through the conferences, workshops and panels available for replay on the event platform.

Here are a few testimonials illustrating the tangible impact of MTL connect on industry, the French-speaking world and international relations:

« MTL connect helps promote the French-speaking economy and strengthen ties between Quebec and French-speaking nations around the world. It’s an important opportunity for Quebec to shine on the international stage. »Martine Biron, Minister of International Relations and Francophonie and Minister responsible for the Status of Women

« A week packed with workshops, round tables, panels and ancillary activities such as virtual reality experiences. As the icing on the cake, a Belgian Café was held on Wednesday, October 11, with Belgium as this year’s featured country! It was an ideal opportunity to network with the many Belgian entrepreneurs, researchers and other players present. » – Consulate General of Belgium in Montreal

« Once again, it was an opportunity to meet inspiring people, develop professional relationships and immerse ourselves in the latest trends in the digital industry. The conferences, interactive workshops and panel discussions really broadened our knowledge thanks to the quality of the expertise and experience of the speakers and panellists. »Angélique Marie-Luce, Director of Operations – Management Consulting & Project Office at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton.

« MTL connect at the crossroads of social and technological innovation, the event brilliantly demonstrated that the success of any digital project rests above all on the quality of the human experience. XR4Heritage – proudly represented by Geraldine Bueken and Manuela Valentino, President of the Belgian UNESCO Committee, Kathleen Jobin, MBA – is honored to have been able to take part in this 5th edition, which put our Belgian kingdom in the spotlight. » XR4Heritage, Geraldine Bueken and Manuela Valentino

Since its creation, MTL connect has become the epicenter of a remarkable digital transformation. The connection between people and the quality of encounters are values cherished by the Digital Spring. The feedback was more than positive: participants gave a 4.7/5 rating to the encounters they made during the event. What’s more, an impressive 2,455 contacts were made on the event platform.
