This year again, Pixsenses and Printemps numérique are renewing their partnership as part of MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week, which will take place from October 15 to 23, 2022.
About Pixsenses:
Pixsenses is a Quebec-based company operating in the field of new technologies. Thanks to the versatility of its team and its founder Abderrahman Ourahou, the company specializes in the design of immersive audiovisual projects, application development, augmented and virtual reality.
Our main mission is to create experiences and place users at the heart of them. Our values are creativity, innovation and autonomy, all through sustainable collaborations.
Major Partner of MTL connect:
As part of this 4th edition, the event will take place in a hybrid format and Pixsenses will play the role of major partner. The goal of this collaboration is to strengthen relationships between Quebec’s digital ecosystems.
This partnership includes not only the company’s responsibility for the venue’s branding and visual aspects through the conceptualization of immersive experiences using projections, interactive experiences and lighting.
Pixsenses will also participate in MTL connect as an exhibitor. Our booth will be the ideal place to come have fun and interact with members of our team and other participants. In addition to being a perfect opportunity to discover our services and products, while enjoying our digital installations.
A company that knows how to reinvent itself:
Since its founding in 2016, the company has taken on numerous projects and has always known how to reinvent itself to meet new challenges, especially over the past two years.
In collaboration with Float4, Pixsenses provided technical direction for eBay’s new interactive campus in Silicon Valley. The team participated in the integration of Float4’s Realmotion technology and infrared sensors to control the visuals on a giant screen by users.
The company also helped organize the Hackiéthé 375 event in collaboration with Printemps numérique, Projet A144, Desjardins Lab and Montréal NewTech, Chromatic Pro, La boîte interactive and Dix2.
With the new needs brought about by the pandemic, Pixsenses adapted its activities and work methods to the circumstances.
Faced with this new reality, the team seized the opportunity to develop its version of the metaverse, titled Virtual Zone, a virtual platform that realistically reproduces the activities and content of an event.
In 2021, the company also developed Xplore, a series of educational card games for children combining board games and augmented reality.
Through its national and international collaborations as well as its large-scale projects, Pixsenses’ vision is to become a Quebec pillar in the field of Information Technologies.
