Montreal, March 7, 2022 – The 4th edition of MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week will take place from October 15 to 23, 2022 in a hybrid format. On this occasion, Printemps numérique invites you to submit your application by April 25, 2022 at the latest to present conferences, discussion panels, and workshops around the central theme: (ÉCO)Systems of Hope.
The main constant of this latest pandemic remains change. Adapting, modifying, transforming to suit a disrupted reality, one that challenges our thought models and perspectives. This crisis has engaged an unprecedented collective process to find solutions. Inevitably, some answers have come from the digital world. The central theme of MTL connect 2022, (ÉCO)Systems of Hope, is an invitation to imagine the actions we must collectively undertake. It is now imperative to imagine digital ecosystems that would allow us to adapt and open up new horizons of possibilities for the world of tomorrow.
In what ways can digital advancements help us progress toward a more resilient urban structure? How can technology and digital tools lead us to new solutions for climate change? How can we build the future of education and work? How can we ensure the protection of our data in an increasingly connected world? How can we envision the future of creative and cultural sectors? How can we develop compassionate technologies? How can we thus mobilize all sectors related to digital to collectively create (ÉCO)Systems of Hope?
For its 4th edition, MTL connect questions current trends and orients its programming toward desirable digital, a generator of wealth and resilience for our territories: a digital with social, ecological, and ethical reach; a digital for the world of tomorrow. The central theme of this 4th edition of MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week is (ÉCO)SYSTEMS OF HOPE.
The choice of the theme (ÉCO)Systems of Hope was inspired by the article “The Sixth Mass Extinction: fact, fiction or speculation?” from the journal Biological Reviews.
CALL FOR SPEAKERS
Printemps numérique is launching a call to leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, creators, and digital and technological tool specialists involved in the research and development of new reflections on the uses and impacts of digital in a wide variety of sectors, to participate in conferences, discussion panels, and workshops.
Those interested in participating in MTL connect can submit their application until Monday, April 25, 2022, midnight (EST).
