The Showcase is a flagship activity of MTL connect that highlights projects driving positive, measurable and significant innovation. Through short presentations, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and project leaders share their solutions with an audience of participants, investors, decision-makers and partners. This initiative aims to promote a desirable digital future, encourage collaboration, stimulate open innovation and foster the sharing of expertise.

- Research-phase projects: Highlight your research work, emphasizing the impact of your findings. [between $0 and $500,000 in funding and/or sales]
- Seed-phase projects: Present your early-stage projects, explaining their vision and potential. [between $500,000 and $2 million in funding and/or sales]
- Growth-phase projects: Present your fast-growing projects and the impact your achievements have or are about to generate. [over $2 million in funding and/or sales]
*No registration fee is required to submit an application. However, selected candidates to present at the Showcase must pay a participation fee (you must hold a Day Pass – October 13 or a Full Pass).
Selection criteria:
The project must:
- Align with a vision of promoting a desirable digital future and foster collaboration, open innovation and the sharing of expertise
- Propose an innovation with a positive, measurable and significant impact
- Have been carried out as an entrepreneur, or project leader within a start-up, SME or NPO

The MTL connect Showcase will be held under the presidency of Sylvain Carle, co-founder and director of CI/VIC, an organization that promotes impact investing practices, as well as support and training for fund managers and entrepreneurs. An investor in innovative initiatives transforming industries, sectors and regions, he aspires to a future where technology is sustainable, equitable, and humanized, positively contributing to society and the environment.
