Montreal, April 18, 2024 — For the 5th consecutive year, Printemps numérique will present the MTL Tech awards during its annual event MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week, taking place from October 15 to 18, 2024. On this occasion, companies, organizations, institutions, and innovative minds are invited to submit their applications to present their projects to a jury of experts. Several awards are up for grabs.
The MTL Tech awards is an international digital innovation competition aimed at promoting innovative projects, ideas, and individuals from Montreal, Quebec, and around the world. The awards ceremony will take place at NAD-UQAC School (Montreal) on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

4 AWARDS TO WIN
1.INNOVATION AWARD
This award celebrates the creativity and innovation of local and international companies.
2.WOMEN IN TECH AWARD
This award celebrates female leadership in impactful organizations and companies.
3. YOUTH DIGITAL LITERACY AWARD
This award highlights projects that contribute to the development of digital skills among young Quebecers.
4. FRANCOPHONE CULTURAL DISCOVERABILITY AWARD
This award aims to recognize projects that promote the discoverability of Francophone cultural content.
By submitting your application, you are already a winner:
- Enjoy two free online passes to the event (value of $138 + tax).
- Gain visibility during the event, propelling your project toward international business opportunities.
For finalists:
- Receive a free full-access pass (value of $499 + tax). This ticket grants access to the entire event, both online and in person.
- Be featured in the program and introduce your project to an audience of professionals, both in person and online.
- Have the chance to win several prestigious awards.
Important Dates
- Wednesday, July 3, 2024 – 11:59 PM (EST): Deadline to submit your application via the form.
- Tuesday, October 1, 2024: Announcement of finalists on our social media.
- Tuesday, October 15, 2024: Finalists’ presentations to the jury and an audience of industry professionals on the main stage of MTL connect (at NAD-UQAC School, Montreal).
- Thursday, October 17, 2024: Live awards ceremony on the main stage of MTL connect (at NAD-UQAC School, Montreal).
Participation Conditions
Must be able to attend NAD-UQAC School, Montreal, on October 15 for the presentations and on October 17 for the awards ceremony.
INNOVATION AWARD
- Participate as an entrepreneur or project leader in one of the following categories: start-up, NPO, SME, or large company;
- Submit your project that will change tomorrow’s habits in one of the 4 themes of MTL connect 2024.
WOMEN IN TECH AWARD
- Participate as a woman in a leadership position working in a company, association, or as an investor;
- Support collective initiatives as well as more sustainable and equitable practices, thanks to new technologies and digital tools;
- Submit your technology project in one of the 4 themes of MTL connect 2024.
YOUTH DIGITAL LITERACY AWARD
- Participate as a company, institution, organization, or school;
- Work, among other things, with a youth clientele in Quebec;
- Present a digital literacy project in one of the following sectors: education, citizenship, or culture.
FRANCOPHONE CULTURAL DISCOVERABILITY AWARD
- Participate as a non-profit legal entity, for-profit entity, or cooperative;
- Work in the field of discoverability of Francophone cultural content.
