2020 was marked by several major events that upended the world, particularly with the spread of the COVID-19 virus, which changed our way of life.
As a result, Printemps numérique had decided to postpone MTL connect: La Semaine numérique de Montréal, initially scheduled in person from May 19 to 24, 2020, to the fall, from October 13 to 18, 2020, in a 100% online and innovative format. Additionally, MTL connect also hosted ISEA2020, the 26th International Symposium on Electronic Art, as a Creativity Pavilion on the theme: Why sentience? in a virtual format, a first for an event of this scale!
MTL connect carries the vision of a new world, designed with boldness, promoting quality and diversity of content, to encourage cross-fertilization of knowledge and the emergence of innovation.
With this 2020 edition, Printemps numérique continued its commitment to democratize and support digital transformation, and to ensure the highest level of visibility for the metropolis, thereby contributing to the economic recovery of our ecosystems.
