Through its artistic program, MTL connect: Montreal Digital Week shines a spotlight on creators from near and far, bringing art, technology, and society into dialogue.

Because digital creation is about more than exploring new technologies: it opens up essential spaces for imagining, experimenting, and collectively questioning the possible futures of a constantly changing world.

An immersive Digital Café at Complexe Desjardins

From October 10 to 17, head to the Grande-Place at Complexe Desjardins for a unique experience.

Free and open to everyone, this meeting and discovery space features the Printemps numérique’s mobile 360° dome.

The program includes a captivating selection of immersive artworks and films exploring four engaging themes, each offering a different range of emotions and imaginative worlds through works by French-speaking and international artists.

Explore Culture and Creativity in the Age of New Technologies

Tech and Culture Tours: Behind the Scenes of Montreal’s Creative Studios

Taking place on Friday, October 16, from 9:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Tech and Culture Tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at some of Montreal’s leading digital creation and innovation spaces. Access is reserved for holders of a full-access pass.

  • Behaviour Interactive: Go behind the scenes at one of Canada’s largest independent video game studios and discover its creative and production processes.
  • Moment Factory: Explore the creative approach, technologies, and immersive vision of this internationally renowned multimedia entertainment studio.
  • École NAD-UQAC: Discover its learning spaces and cutting-edge teaching methods in visual effects, 3D animation, video games, and digital experiences.

International Reach and Collaboration: The Curator’s Tour

As part of its mission to foster connections and raise the profile of Quebec’s creative ecosystem, Printemps numérique welcomes an international delegation for the Curator’s Tour (by invitation only).

This exclusive program invites professionals working in curation, programming, and distribution to discover the richness of Montreal’s digital arts scene through direct encounters and visits to key cultural venues, including Centre d’art daphne, Ada X, World Creation Studio, OBORO, the Milieux Institute at Concordia University, VOX, and the Quartier des spectacles.

Printemps numérique also welcomes the fall issue of Ciel variable magazine, which explores the many dimensions of intimacy through the works of Maude Arsenault, Judith Bellavance, and Nicole Jolicoeur. An inspiring read to discover alongside the event.
