Biographie
Amina Yagoubi Kurtin is a sociologist researcher with a Ph.D., specializing in the issues of digital transformation and new technologies. Her work focuses on digital uses, digital inequalities, and the societal, cultural, and economic changes associated with contemporary technological environments.
She collaborates with the organization Printemps numérique on collaborative research projects focusing on digital uses among youth in Quebec (digital citizenship, digital divide, gendered digital divide, cyberviolence, and cyberbullying, etc.). She notably led a study on digital cultures, uses, and inequalities. Her most recent research project addresses cyberbullying among youth and is part of the “Ensemble contre la cyberintimidation” program of the Québec Ministry of Family. In this context, she serves as Research, Knowledge Sharing and Innovation Project Manager. Her work has resulted in scientific publications and presentations in national and international settings.
