Conference on the challenges and opportunities of cybersecurity with Phedra Clouner
Every day, the media reports cyberattacks with dramatic consequences for organizations. What are the types of attacks, their perpetrators, and motivations? How is the Belgian Cybersecurity Agency strengthening digital security to make Belgium one of the least vulnerable European countries by 2025? Phedra Clouner, Deputy Director General of the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium, will answer these questions during her presentation, revealing the actions taken and the agency’s successes.
Workshop on security culture within development teams by Mathy Scott
Mathy Scott (Akinox) will present an approach to spark interest and develop cybersecurity expertise within development teams. This method helps reduce risks related to software development, particularly in cases where hiring multiple security experts is not feasible.
Workshop on data confidentiality by William Simetin Grenon
When it comes to collective innovation, information sharing is essential. However, in environments where confidential data is at stake, collaboration often becomes a major challenge. Federated learning emerges as a solution in this context. William Simetin Grenon (Explore AI) will explain how a machine learning technique allows models to be trained in a decentralized manner, distributed across multiple mobile devices or clients, without centralizing or storing data in a single location. This revolutionary approach fosters innovation while strictly preserving the confidentiality of the data used to train the learning models.
