Attend MTL connect for free with the Young Ambassadors QC delegation

Montreal, July 11, 2023 – On the occasion of MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week, which will be held from October 10 to 13, 2023, Printemps numérique is offering 50 emerging entrepreneurs the chance to attend the event free of charge as Young Ambassadors.

Through this initiative, Printemps numérique aims to foster entrepreneurial development and encourage the participation of young professionals interested in contributing to the discussion on the impact of digital technology on our societies and the economic development of regions.

What is the Young Ambassadors QC Delegation?

• An initiative for entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 from different regions of Quebec who are interested in sharing their knowledge and consolidating their expertise in digital transformation;
• An opportunity to connect with stakeholders from Quebec’s ecosystem and beyond. In 2022, over 2,300 young people from 58 countries participated in the program.

-> An All-Access Pass (value of $499) will be awarded to the first 50 eligible applicants!

Benefits offered

• 4 days of in-person activities, including:
  – 1 day of presentations: MTL connect Showcase + MTL Tech Awards (October 10);
  – 2 days of conferences, panels, and workshops (October 11 and 12);
  – 1 day of techno-cultural visits in Montreal or techno-industrial visits in Mont-Tremblant (October 13);
• Networking opportunities with delegations, partners, and Speakers;
• And much more!

Desired profiles:

The masculine form is used without discrimination and solely for the purpose of lightening the text.

• Aged between 18 and 35;
• Reside in Quebec;
• Be an active or startup entrepreneur;
• Have an interest in digital technology, AI-related technologies, cybersecurity, cultural and creative industries, mobility, health, energy efficiency, or agritech;
• Be available from October 10 to 13 (arrival on October 9) to actively participate in MTL connect activities at the NAD School in Montreal;
• Help promote the event before and after.*

* Several ambassadors will be asked to engage on Printemps numérique’s social media before and during the event (e.g., testimonials, interviews with Speakers, etc.)

Additional benefit for 15 candidates!

Thanks to the support provided by Les offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec (LOJIQ), 15 candidates living 60 km or more from Montreal have the chance to receive additional benefits:

• Financial support for your transportation;
• Accommodation covered from October 9 to 13, 2023 (including 5 nights, in a single room, with breakfast);
• Civil liability insurance coverage.

Candidates interested in LOJIQ’s offer must attest that they meet the following criteria: hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency or a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) with a valid work permit, as well as a valid Quebec Health Insurance Card (RAMQ).

The Jeunesse QC 2030 project, supported by the Secrétariat à la jeunesse du Québec, aims to contribute to establishing equal opportunities for young people aged 13 to 29 by supporting the development of digital literacy skills, thereby reducing the digital divide observed between different population groups. This project is presented by Hydro-Québec.
