New for 2023: 1,000 young women in the program
As part of the 5th edition of MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week, which will take place from October 10 to 13, 2023, Printemps numérique (PN) is launching registration for its Explore MTL connect program, focused on accessibility to digital knowledge.
Completely free, Explore MTL connect is an online program aimed at young people aged 18 to 35 from developing countries with training or an interest in future technologies.
1,000 young women
This year, PN aims to reach 1,000 young women through its program. To this end, sessions will be specifically tailored for women interested in technology, featuring success stories, inspiring journeys, and career development opportunities.
What is Explore MTL connect?
Explore MTL connect is a free online program aimed at young people aged 18 to 35 from developing countries who are interested in sharing their knowledge and consolidating their expertise in digital transformation.
The program is all the more relevant this year as the main theme of the 2023 edition is Collective Intelligence. PN thus wishes to promote an inclusive society and highlight the importance of ensuring that people from all backgrounds, particularly young emerging talent, can participate in international and large-scale forums such as MTL connect.
Explore MTL connect is also an opportunity for young people from various developing countries to connect with players in Quebec’s ecosystem. In 2022, over 2,300 young people from 58 countries participated in the program.
Who can participate?
Eligibility criteria:
The masculine generic is used without discrimination and solely for the purpose of lightening the text.
- You are aged between 18-35;
- You are an entrepreneur, student, or researcher;
- You have an interest in digital technology, technologies related to AI, cybersecurity, cultural and creative industries, mobility, health, energy efficiency, or agritech;
- You come from a developing country (in Asia, Africa, Latin America, or the Caribbean).
