On the occasion of MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week, taking place from October 15 to 23, 2022 in a hybrid format, Printemps numérique is offering the Explore MTL connect accessibility program for the third consecutive year. The program is aimed at young people under 35 who wish to share their knowledge and strengthen their expertise in digital transformation.
There are two ways to participate in this youth delegation:
1. By joining the international youth delegation (open to entrepreneurs, professionals, and students from developing countries);
2. OR by joining the Quebec youth delegation (open to students residing in Quebec).
Explore MTL connect aims to remove all barriers by enabling young professionals to equip themselves, stay informed about current and future digital issues, receive advice from experts in various sectors, meet participants from around the world, and develop new collaborations, all free of charge and online.
Two new features for this 3rd year:
- The program is also open to communities that consider themselves on the periphery of the ongoing digital transformation.
- 50 ambassadors will be selected from the Quebec youth delegation to attend MTL connect in person, in Montreal. Newcomers already living in Quebec and looking for opportunities to develop their skills and careers are invited to express their interest.
Through this initiative, Printemps numérique aims to encourage the participation of young professionals interested in contributing to the reflection on the impact of digital technology on our societies.

In 2021, over 1,539 young people aged between 18 and 35 registered for the accessibility program. From diverse backgrounds, they came from over 50 countries, including Algeria, Benin, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Haiti, India, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo, and Tunisia.

Eligibility criteria:
- Be aged between 18-35
- Have an interest in digital technology
- Be a national of a developing country (in Asia, Africa, Latin America, or the Caribbean), or part of a community and/or organization on the periphery of digital technology OR be a student residing in Quebec
- You must meet all of these criteria.
