Montreal, Tuesday, February 20, 2024 — MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week is back for a 6th edition, taking place from October 15 to 18, 2024, at the NAD-UQAC School (Montreal). For this occasion, Printemps numérique invites you to submit your application to present workshops, conferences, and discussion panels around the main theme METAMORPHOSIS.
This year, the MTL connect programming will embrace the theme of METAMORPHOSIS to explore how technological advancements and innovative collaborations can transform our world. The diversity and impact of digital transformation will be celebrated through workshops, conferences, and panels. Cutting-edge projects and cross-border collaborations will be highlighted throughout this edition.
MTL connect 2024 is an opportunity to come together and actively participate in this evolution. Speakers and participants are invited to explore how emerging technologies, AI, cybersecurity enhancement, innovative education, culture, and digital art can combine to shape a promising and inclusive future. Every initiative becomes a transformation, every voice a driving force, illustrating how action can truly shape the future of digital. 2024 Themes
- Artificial Intelligence : Presented on Wednesday, October 16, this theme will explore the advancements and potential applications of AI across various fields. Ethical questions and challenges associated with AI, particularly regarding bias, governance, and privacy, will also be addressed.
- Culture & Creativity : Presented on Wednesday, October 16, this theme will highlight the impact of technology on cultural and creative industries. The content will examine how technology can enrich artistic and cultural expression, and how creativity can influence technological development.
- Cybersecurity : Presented on Thursday, October 17, this theme will emphasize the importance of security in an increasingly digital world. It will cover issues related to data protection, digital identity, and emerging threats in cyberspace.
- Education & Digital Inclusion : Presented on Thursday, October 17, this theme will underscore the importance of equitable access to technology and digital education. It will explore ways to reduce the digital divide and promote digital inclusion to ensure that the benefits of the digital revolution are accessible to all.
Call for Speakers
Printemps numérique is launching a call to leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, creators, and digital and technological tool specialists who are passionate about one or more of the 4 themes. Whether you are involved in research or in developing new perspectives on the uses and impacts of digital, submit your application before May 8, 2024 at midnight (EST).
