Montreal, August 24, 2023 – For its 5th anniversary edition, MTL connect highlights the excellence of Quebec’s regions and continues to propel Quebec’s innovative advances on the international stage. On this occasion, the Printemps numérique invites a delegation to participate in the very first regional visit on October 13, in Mont-Tremblant.
Located about 2 hours from Montreal, Mont-Tremblant is a paradise for outdoor and nature lovers. The city stands as an undisputed pillar at the heart of the Laurentians, embodying the development of innovative solutions in sustainable tourism, culture, and entertainment.

PROGRAM
- Departure from downtown Montreal around 7:30 AM* by bus with the team from Arche Innovation, the deployment partner of Printemps numérique for this day, who will awaken your curiosity about the Laurentians and Mont-Tremblant.
- A few stops along the way to Mont-Tremblant to discover the Laurentians’ innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem:
– Meet local entrepreneurs, including former Olympic gold medalist Jasey-Jay Anderson and co-founder of ICI Ski;
– Visit a flagship business incubator-accelerator in the region’s agri-food sector: La Manufacture;
– Find yourself at the heart of a workshop where sliding sports enthusiasts design, among other things, electric boards with a futuristic look: Lacroix Boards. - A networking lunch break in Mont-Tremblant:
Get to know about a dozen local Speakers (municipal official, visit partners, and other local innovation Speakers) who are proud to welcome you and present a portrait of Mont-Tremblant and its region, the innovative projects under development for the city, and collaboration opportunities. - A visit to the regional tourism showcase project in Mont-Tremblant:
Get a preview of the immersive and interactive experience that will be offered in this tourism showcase currently under construction. This showcase will allow the public to explore the landscapes, activities, and various facets of the region, as well as five tourist hubs, using projections, virtual reality, and other immersive technological tools. - A stroll through the pedestrian village at the foot of the mountain:
Stretch your legs in an enchanting setting surrounded by flamboyant autumn colors. - A networking activity hosted by Mont X:
– Discover Mont X, the first incubator for startups related to sports, the outdoors, and well-being in Quebec;
– Meet other innovative startups;
– Connect with the local business community. - Return to Montreal between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM.
