Biographie
Walter Bouvais, 48, is a committed entrepreneur and author. In 2018, he co-founded Open Lande, a network of Fabriques that mobilise, train and support individuals, businesses and regions to address the challenges of climate, biodiversity and job creation. Open Lande has already raised awareness among over 8,900 professionals and supported dozens of projects.
Alongside Open Lande, Walter continues to write and give lectures on the themes of life and climate. His creed: «Healing the Earth» is not only a necessity but also a magnificent societal project and a vast entrepreneurial challenge. He co-wrote the film «Animal» with Cyril Dion, selected for the Cannes Film Festival 2021.
An economic journalist and then publisher, Walter previously co-founded and led Terra eco, a pioneering French-language journal for ecological transition. He was also a co-founder and administrator of the French chapter of 1% for the Planet, an international network created by Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia.
