Biographie
Philippe Bourque is President and CEO of Canopée Solutions Numériques Inc., a Quebec-based technology company specializing in sovereign digital solutions, software development, artificial intelligence, consulting services, and training. A computer engineer with 20 years of experience, he designed the digital identity vision architecture at the Ministère de la Cybersécurité et du Numérique (2022-2023) and led the Quebec digital trust network.
Former Director of Engineering at Gentec-EO (2011-2020), he combines technical expertise, strategic vision, and an artistic background. His current practice is notably based on harness-driven development (harness engineering), with Gervais, an agentic harness designed and operated in-house, alongside the development of sovereign software products.
A conference speaker and radio columnist, he is also Vice-President of Quaribou Culture and the designer of Yopidou, an intelligent assistant for early childhood. Philippe approaches digital sovereignty and AI adoption with a perspective that combines technical rigor and awareness of societal impacts.
