Biographie
After obtaining a master’s degree in ancient history and a master’s degree in information and communication technologies (INFODOC) from ULB, Phédra Clouner began her career at the Belgian Ministry of Finance as an IT project manager. Specialising in document management, enterprise content management and records management, she became responsible for information management, business intelligence and web content management at the Ministry of Justice. At the same time, she became president of document@work, the Belgian-Luxembourg association for enterprise content management, and founded and managed the Belgian branch of FEDISA international (the federation for information lifecycle management, storage and archiving).
Passionate about information security, she also served as CISO for the Ministry of Justice and continues to work in this field. She has been Deputy Director General of the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB), the Belgian national cybersecurity agency, since its creation a little over 8 years ago.
The Belgian Cybersecurity Centre (CCB) is the national authority for cybersecurity in Belgium. The CCB supervises, coordinates and monitors the implementation of Belgium’s cybersecurity strategy. Thanks to optimal information sharing, businesses, the government, essential service providers and the public can protect themselves appropriately.
She is Vice-President of the Belgian Cybersecurity Coalition. She is also a member of the advisory board of the FIC (Forum International de la Cybersécurité).
She is a founding member of the Women4Cyber initiative, launched by the European Cybersecurity Organisation (ECSO).
She is co-founder of the Belgian chapter of Women4Cyber.
–> this part can be skipped without issue ^^ She was recognised in 2019 as one of the 50 most influential women in cybersecurity in Europe by SC Magazine and as a data protection and security professional in Europe by the Data Protection World Forum-PrivSec.
In 2022, she won the “European cyberwomenday” award in the “executive management or entrepreneur” Europe category, organised by CEFCYS.
