Biographie
Pascal McCarthy is the founder and CEO of Parados Cerebral Solutions Inc., a Montreal-based company born from a master’s project in technology management at the University of New Brunswick. A trained engineer, former professional athlete and recipient of the 2022 Mitacs National Change-Agent Entrepreneur Award, Pascal developed Parados at the intersection of engineering, data analysis and innovation management. His research initially focused on head and neck movement analysis for the preventive management of risks among high-level athletes and military personnel, an orientation that still defines Parados’ dual mission today: health and defence. Since founding the company, he has raised over $1.5M in institutional support and now receives backing from the Government of Canada under the Defence Readiness Program for his work in behavioural detection and mobility analysis in public spaces.
