After founding SweetIQ in 2010, a local digital marketing company, Mo led it to four consecutive years of revenue growth exceeding 300%, ultimately serving over 100,000 clients worldwide. In 2017, the company was acquired by Gannett, owner of the USA TODAY NETWORK, earning SweetIQ the 2018 Canadian Venture Capital Deal of the Year award for the highest return to investors, at 560%.
In 2019, Mo founded Wrk, a process automation platform based in Montreal. Having experienced the challenges of rapid growth and high volumes at SweetIQ, El-Barachi is tackling the issue of process scaling head-on with this newer venture.
