Biographie
Born in Shawinigan, Mr. Michel Angers has been Mayor of the Ville de Shawinigan since November 1, 2009. Deeply committed to the city’s economic revival, he is President and Spokesperson of the Shawinigan Economic Diversification and Development Committee, the Shawinigan Entrepreneurial Community, the Shawinigan Alphonse-Desjardins Entrepreneurship Centre, and Digihub Shawinigan. Mr. Angers sits on various commissions at the Union des municipalités du Québec, including the Smart Cities Commission.
