Biographie
At the age of 50, Mehdi KETTANI began his career in 1995 with the France Telecom/Orange Group, working on the restructuring of Operator Services.
In 2000, he took over as Head of the Customer Service Department of France Telecom Paris, where he ensured the consolidation and merger of all the capital’s Call Centres.
In 2004, after a Finance programme at ESSEC, he became a Master Black Belt and oversaw strategic projects for the Group’s General Management Committee.
In 2006, he created Orange Assistance, a Technical Customer Intervention Subsidiary.
In 2007, he joined the Bull Group to head up its Moroccan subsidiary. There, he doubled the turnover and created 180 jobs by developing the local business and launching the international offshore business.
At the end of 2010, he co-founded Maroc Numeric Cluster, which he has chaired ever since. In 2012, he was appointed Vice-President of the CGEM’s R&D Commission and, in 2018, President of the Digital & Technology Commission.
In 2012, he took charge of the Business entity of the telecom operator Inwi and achieved growth of nearly 25% by investing heavily in Data growth.
At the beginning of 2016, he took over as Head of DXC in Morocco, a subsidiary between the multinational DXC and the Caisse des Dépôts et Gestion Group. He restructured this company of 1,200 employees and focused it on application and infrastructure activities. It became DXC’s reference French-speaking service centre, with growth of 35% over the period.
Mehdi KETTANI holds a DESS in Ergonomics & Production System Design from the University of Paris La Sorbonne and a DEA in Planning from the University of Paris XII. He also wrote a thesis in Management Sciences on the impact of technologies in management.
Mehdi Kettani is married and the father of three children.
