Biographie
Mathieu Dion is a national reporter on the economy at Radio-Canada. After beginning his career in the TVA newsroom in Montréal in 2010, Mathieu spent a few years as a reporter in Saskatchewan and Alberta, then in Ottawa and Montréal. The year 2013 was a pivotal one when he was called upon to cover the Lac-Mégantic tragedy for the 22h Téléjournal. Mathieu then covered numerous current affairs topics for several television and radio programs of the state-owned broadcaster. From 2016 to 2020, management entrusted him with the role of correspondent at the National Assembly of Quebec, a position in which he developed new digital formats. Mathieu Dion holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Globalization from the University of Ottawa, a Master’s degree in Communication from the Université du Québec à Montréal, and a course on securities trading in Canada from the Canadian Securities Institute. He is currently completing a Master’s in Business Administration at HEC Montréal.
