Biographie
Marie-Josee is Head of ESG Innovation at Novisto Inc., a next-generation sustainability management platform that helps companies better manage their data, reporting and ESG strategy, and derive value from it. Marie-Josee draws on nearly 30 years of experience in financial markets, where she has worked as a financial analyst specialising in small and mid-cap companies, Head of Investor Relations and ESG advisor to companies and investors.
Marie-Josee is a member of CPA Canada’s Value Creation (Foresight Initiative) working group and its Sustainable Performance Management Education Committee, a member of the Enterprise Data Management Council’s ESG working group and the Quebec lead for the SASB FSA Credential Group. She also participates in the Canadian Climate Governance Experts Initiative of the CCLI.
Marie-Josee holds a B.Com. in Finance from McGill University and a certificate in Applied Communication from the Université de Montréal. She is a CFA charterholder, holds the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and the Responsible Investment Professional Certification (RIPC) from the Canadian Responsible Investment Association. She has also completed the Advanced Responsible Investment Analysis course from the PRI Academy of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) of the UN. She is currently enrolled in the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing program.
