Biographie
Mr. Pierre Savignac is the president of Emergex RS&DE Subventions, which he founded in 1994. Emergex is a consulting firm specializing in claiming tax credits for Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED), Electronic Business (CDAE) and digital media, as well as grants from the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) and other government assistance programs.
Holder of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, a university certificate in four foreign languages, and certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the globally recognized authority, the Project Management Institute (PMI), Mr. Savignac has over 30 years of professional experience with: Vidéotron (launch of high-speed Internet), Virtual Prototypes (acquired by CAE), MédiaSoft Télécom (integrated into Bell), Alis Technologies (purchased by OpenText) and his own businesses. His successes as an entrepreneur earned him 2nd place as best entrepreneur in a prestigious competition.
