Biographie
An economist with a Master’s in Business Administration and Museology as well as a certification in governance, she is distinguished by a pioneering career in financial and professional services, her involvement on several boards of directors, and her over forty-year commitment to promoting women’s representation in organizational bodies. She was the founding president of the Bureau des services financiers, the predecessor of the Autorité des marchés financiers.
She is Co-Director of the Centre Lorenzetti (Concordia University), whose goal is to make the centre a lasting hub of expertise and research dedicated to women entrepreneurs and executives. She is also Vice-Chair of the CHU Ste-Justine Board of Directors and serves on the boards of the SAAQ and Canada Post. Deeply involved in exploring new trends in governance and diversity, she acts as a blogger for Les Affaires on ESG factors and corporate social responsibility.
She is a Member of the Order of Canada, a Knight of the National Order of Quebec, and a Fellow of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec. In May 2023, she received the highest distinction from Quebec’s professional system and, on November 1, 2023, was named a Certified Corporate Director (Émérite) by the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.
