Biographie
Jihene Rezgui is the General Director of ALIVEcode, a Montreal-based company that is transforming education through a Centralized Active Learning Platform, enabling the design of interactive courses, real-time tracking of student engagement, and fostering more dynamic and effective learning. Through this initiative, she actively contributes to rethinking pedagogical practices and improving the educational experience.
A PhD candidate in computer science at the Université de Montréal, she is also the founder and director of the Maisonneuve Computer Science Research Laboratory (LRIMa), where she leads projects in applied artificial intelligence.
She is also the co-founder of PhonIA, a platform aimed at supporting speech therapists and schools with automated tools. Since 2023, she has been an associate professor at Polytechnique Montréal, where she continues her work in applied AI. She is notably developing an AI coach dedicated to improving active reading skills among students.
Author of over 70 internationally recognized scientific publications, she has received the AQPC Award for teaching excellence and the 2025 Forces Avenir Committed Individual Award. Committed to diversity in technology, she multiplies initiatives to inspire the next generation, particularly young girls.
