Biographie
Holder of a PhD in industrial pharmacy, Jean-Louis Fraysse is a member of the ethics committee of the Digital Health Delegation (Ministry of Health). He teaches in several university programmes in France, including at Université Bourgogne Europe, Université Paris Cité, Université Paris-Saclay, as well as at the Faculty of Law of Université Toulouse Capitole, where he contributes to the Jean Monnet Chair in European Health and Health Products Law, directed by Professor Nathalie De Grove Valdeyron. He also teaches at Toulouse Business School. His areas of expertise cover data legislation, artificial intelligence, the digital health roadmap and ethics.
Co-founder of Botdesign and co-president of the Silica Alliance alongside Professor Allassonnière, he works to unite European stakeholders around artificial and synthetic health data. He is also vice-president of SoFia Santé, a Francophone learned society dedicated to artificial intelligence and chaired by Professor Patrick Callier, and a member of the “New Clinical Research Methodologies” group within AIS and F-Crin.
His career lies at the intersection of health, technological innovation and artificial intelligence, with the ambition of driving sustainable and structural advances in these fields. He is particularly interested in the social and environmental impacts of AI, as well as the ethical issues it raises.
