Biographie
Hossein Rahnama is a computer scientist and entrepreneur from academia. In 2013, he founded Flybits, the most advanced contextual engagement platform for the financial sector, and became its CEO. His research focuses on artificial intelligence (AI), human-machine interaction in mobile contexts, and the effective design of data-driven services. He has authored over 30 publications and holds 23 patents in computer science. He has served on the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) council and currently sits on the boards of Canadian Science Publishing and Home Capital Group. In 2012, MIT Technology Review named him to its global TR35 list, which recognizes the world’s top 35 innovators under 35. In 2017, he was selected as one of Canada’s 40 under 40.
