Biographie
Elnathan Tiokou is an artificial intelligence researcher at Mila with over six years of experience in AI privacy and security. Before founding Vraust.ai, he designed the AI architecture for a federal health project worth over $100M, connecting Canadian hospitals through privacy-preserving AI systems.
He then applied his expertise in large-scale project architecture to combating social engineering fraud: the manipulation that occurs before any security system detects a signal. Over fifteen months, he contacted more than 500 experts and conducted over 80 interviews with major Canadian banks, FINTRAC, the RCMP, the Canadian Bankers Association, and fraud victims from all backgrounds, before creating Vraust.ai: the world’s first real-time AI platform that intercepts social engineering across all channels (calls, messages, emails, websites) before the victim acts.
