Biographie
Darine Ameyed holds a PhD in engineering, software and information technology (ETS, 2017) and a certificate in applied AI (Columbia University, US, 2019). She is co-founder and Scientific Director at Baüne and also an affiliated professor at UdeS and UQAC.
Darine Ameyed has extensive experience in digital technologies focused on innovation and research on contextual systems and data-driven process modelling, cognitive Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning and ambient intelligence. Her research also covers intelligent processes, modelling of intelligent cyber-physical systems, human-centred computing, data and model security and privacy, and intelligent systems. Darine also has experience in developing innovative prototypes to demonstrate the commercial potential of the next waves of intelligent IoT systems, artificial intelligence models and data-driven processes. She fully understands the realities of technology transfer and research and development, and works equally well with SMEs and large companies. She excels in developing and deploying strategies and technology plans aimed at improving competitiveness, efficiency and quality through strategic technological innovation processes. Her studies and career have led her to adapt to different environments in Canada, Europe and Africa.
