Biographie
Constantinos Antoniou is a Full Professor and Chair Holder of the Chair of Transportation Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from NTUA (1995), a Master of Science (MS) in Transportation (1997), and a PhD in Transportation Systems (2004), the latter two from MIT. His research focuses on the modelling and optimisation of transportation systems, data analytics and machine learning applied to transportation systems, as well as human factors related to future mobility systems. Over his 25-year career, he has held key positions in numerous research projects across Europe, the United States, and Asia, in addition to participating in several consulting mandates. Costas has a proven track record in securing competitive funding at both national and international levels. He is or has been the Principal Investigator (PI) of several research projects (e.g., H2020 iDREAMS, MOMENTUM, Drive2thefuture, DFG DVanPool, and Trampa) and has extensively contributed to the preparation of a large number of funded proposals at national and international levels.
