Biographie
Camélia is a lawyer and works as a Principal Advisor within the personal information protection and technological risk management teams. She advises clients on projects related to personal information protection, compliance, technological risks, and incident response in cases involving confidentiality breaches. She is particularly involved in projects assessing the impact of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (amended by Law 25) on the operations of various organizations.
Before joining KPMG in 2021, Camélia worked for a law firm specializing in business law and emerging technologies. She supported clients across various sectors in implementing cybersecurity and confidentiality policies. She also worked for a federal company within the Access to Information and Privacy Office. She assisted the lawyer responsible for defending the organization’s position in cases submitted to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
