Biographie
Benoît Balmana has a mechanical engineering background, complemented by a specialisation in project management. Benoit has over 20 years of experience in the fields of innovation and economic development. Since 2017, Benoit has been the General Manager of IVÉO, an innovation ecosystem in the smart and sustainable cities sector, based on experimentation with innovations and knowledge sharing. The IVÉO network currently includes over 60 cities across Quebec, where numerous innovation projects have been implemented to address various municipal challenges, particularly in sustainable mobility, sustainable water management, energy efficiency, or operational optimisation.
