From October 13 to 16, 2026, Montréal will host the 8th edition of MTL connect, an international event dedicated to digital transformation and its economic, social, cultural, and environmental impacts. Under the Digital Wallonia label, the Walloon Agency for Export and Foreign Investment (AWEX) will return with a delegation of innovative Walloon companies looking to expand their network, present their solutions, and explore new collaboration opportunities.
This presence fully aligns with AWEX’s mission: supporting Walloon companies in their international development and facilitating their access to new markets, partners, and business opportunities. Through Digital Wallonia and its digital Hub based in Montréal, this mission also helps bring together Walloon, Quebec, and international digital ecosystems.
A delegation reflecting Wallonia’s digital diversity
The delegation will include PHOENIX AI, LR DATA SCIENCE, TIMi, WAKOO, WECODX, DIABHEALTH, NSI, SHIELD AI, STEREOPSIA, BIZZDEV, OZCONSULTING – Welink Care, and TRADANIM.
This diversity is one of the delegation’s strengths. Artificial intelligence and edge computing, data analysis, cybersecurity, digital transformation, immersive technologies, digital health, software development, and EdTech: the companies present showcase the variety of expertise developed in Wallonia.
Among them, PHOENIX AI develops embedded AI solutions, notably for defense and critical infrastructure, while LR DATA SCIENCE specializes in data analysis for the retail and consumer goods sectors. TIMi offers an advanced data science and analytics platform, and WAKOO helps technical teams understand the impact of changes in their software systems.
WECODX supports SMEs in their digital transformation, particularly through the development of websites, applications, Odoo solutions, and automation. NSI IT operates across a spectrum ranging from ERP to AI, including cloud, 5G, and cybersecurity. SHIELD AI develops data protection and governance solutions for generative AI applications.
