Montreal, August 31, 2026 — Printemps numérique and La Représentation de l’Organisation internationale de la Francophonie pour les Amériques (REPAM) announce a strategic partnership on the occasion of MTL connect 2026, Montreal’s Digital Week. As a major partner of this 8ᵉ edition, the OIF will help make it an essential space for dialogue and innovation around digital sovereignty, the theme of this edition. The 2026 program will honor the Francophonie by bringing together public decision-makers, businesses, researchers, entrepreneurs, international organizations, and cultural actors from the Americas, Africa, Europe, and other French-speaking regions.
Strengthening collaboration within the Digital Francophonie
Together, Printemps numérique and the OIF aim to strengthen ties between French-speaking ecosystems to foster sustainable collaborations, support innovation in French, and promote a more inclusive, responsible, and representative digital space for the diversity of French-speaking territories.
The program will notably include conferences, business meetings, networking activities, a Francophone Forum on Artificial Intelligence, as well as initiatives dedicated to youth, entrepreneurship, and women’s participation in the digital sector.
In 2025, MTL connect brought together nearly 19,000 participants, with 73 countries represented and over 3,000 business meetings, confirming its role as an international platform for cooperation and innovation.

About MTL connect
MTL connect, Montreal’s Digital Week, is an annual event organized by Printemps numérique. It brings together actors from the technological, academic, artistic, entrepreneurial, institutional, and cultural sectors to reflect on major digital transformation issues, foster collaboration, and stimulate business development.
The 8ᵉ edition will take place from October 13 to 16, 2026 in Montreal, under the theme of digital sovereignty.
