UQAC x MTL connect: together to shape the future of digital
As a major partner of the 6th edition of MTL connect, Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) is proud to support this international event that highlights the impacts of the digital revolution so that we can not only better understand it, but also benefit from it.
As a higher education institution, our role is to promote critical reflection on various societal issues. In terms of research, creation, and innovation, our university stands out through various cross-cutting axes, including that of digital ecosystems. Our researchers in computer science, digital arts, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, video games, and digital literacy work daily to advance research in these fields.
UQAC is also a university open to the world that welcomes 6,500 students from about fifty countries each year. France, particularly well represented, is being honored this year as part of MTL connect, thus marking a strengthened partnership through the development of knowledge beyond borders, which also characterizes our institution.
Dear participants, we open the doors of our Montreal campus to you, where the spaces of the École des arts numériques, de l’animation et du design (NAD-UQAC), conducive to exchange and creativity, await you. Your gathering, with the aim of understanding and leveraging the opportunities of the digital revolution, represents an exceptional opportunity to turn this revolution into a driver of progress, while adopting an inclusive, sustainable, and creative approach.
As a partner of MTL connect, we hope to contribute to a constructive dialogue on the future of digital intelligence, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and inspire concrete actions for the common good.
