Young Ambassadors QC: Submit your application

Montreal, July 11, 2024 – On the occasion of MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week, taking place from October 15 to 18, 2024 at the NAD-UQAC School, Printemps numérique is once again giving young entrepreneurs the opportunity to attend the event free of charge as Young Ambassadors.

Through this initiative, Printemps numérique encourages young professionals to explore how emerging technologies and digital innovation can shape a promising and inclusive future.

What is the Young Ambassadors Delegation QC?

• An initiative for entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 from various regions of Quebec who wish to share their knowledge and deepen their expertise in digital transformation.
• An opportunity to engage with entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and decision-makers from Quebec’s ecosystem and beyond. In 2023, 10,461 participants from 60 countries, including 2,454 in person, attended the event.

Eligibility Criteria

A Full Access Pass (valued at $499) will be awarded to 50 individuals who meet the following conditions:

• Be aged between 18 and 35,
• Be a resident of Quebec,
• Be an active or startup entrepreneur,
• Have an interest in emerging technologies for a promising and inclusive future: AI, cybersecurity, innovative education, digital culture and art,
• Be available from October 15 to 18, 2024 to actively participate in MTL connect activities at the NAD-UQAC School in Montreal,
• Participate in promoting the event*.

*Ambassadors will be tasked with representing and promoting the event (before, during, and after), in addition to participating in video testimonial capsules.

Benefits Offered

• 3 days of in-person activities, including:
  • 1 day of presentations: MTL connect Showcase + MTL Tech Awards (October 15),
  • 2 days of conferences, panels, and workshops (October 16 and 17),
  • 1 day of techno-cultural visits in Montreal or techno-industrial visits* in Saguenay (October 18).
• Networking opportunities with delegations, partners, and Speakers.

*The day of techno-industrial visits in Saguenay is optional and requires additional fees.

Thanks to the support provided by Les Offices Jeunesse Internationaux du Québec (LOJIQ), 15 candidates living 60 km or more from Montreal have the chance to receive additional benefits*:

• Financial support for your transportation,
• Accommodation covered from October 14 to 19, 2024 (5 nights, in a single room, with breakfast),
• Liability insurance.

*Candidates interested in this offer must first submit their application to LOJIQ and certify that they hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, as well as a valid Quebec Health Insurance Card (RAMQ).
