Montreal, November 11, 2021 ― The 2021 edition of MTL connect, held from October 12 to 17 under the theme Renaissance, recorded nearly 11,000 participants. It was one of the first hybrid events of this scale to take place in a post-pandemic context, and it was a huge success!

We are proud to mention:
- The launch of the very first France-Québec meetings on the online discoverability of Francophone cultural content, organized in collaboration with the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communications and the French Ministry of Culture;

- The Explore MTL connect program offered to participants of the Accessibility Program and the youth delegation. A program that enabled under-35s from here and abroad to receive support, conference and workshop recommendations, networking sessions, and the opportunity to serve as youth ambassadors for MTL connect.
The Accessibility Program was made possible thanks to the support of the main partner, the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie and the Ville de Montréal in mobilizing young people from Francophone countries.
