Biographie
Yacine Hanaya is the founder and president of ALEIA, a digital agency founded in Montreal in 2019 that designs and develops digital products and experiences, including websites, mobile applications, custom platforms, and solutions integrating artificial intelligence.
At the intersection of strategy, design, and technology, ALEIA supports its clients throughout every stage of their digital projects, from strategic planning and user research to UX/UI design, development, and technological deployment. The agency works with companies, institutions, and organizations across various sectors to create high-performing, accessible digital experiences tailored to their business objectives.
Based in Old Montreal, ALEIA relies on teams in Canada and internationally, including in France, the United States, Morocco, Tunisia, and Qatar. Driven by the belief that digital technology can be a powerful lever for social impact, the agency also leads a philanthropic initiative supporting the community ecosystem by delivering all or part of digital projects on a pro bono basis or by covering a portion of their costs, helping non-profit organizations advance their missions.
An engineer graduate from INSA Toulouse and holder of a Master’s degree in Strategy & Management of International Business (SMIB) from ESSEC, Yacine Hanaya began his career in audit and consulting at Groupe BPCE. He then moved into technology entrepreneurship, co-founding and successfully exiting digital startups before founding ALEIA.
Former President of La French Tech Montréal, Yacine actively contributes to the development of Montreal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He also teaches entrepreneurship and project management at ESG UQAM, as well as cybersecurity regulation at HEC Montréal. As an investor in technology startups and companies, he also provides pro bono mentorship to aspiring entrepreneurs in the creation and development of their projects.
