Biographie
Mr. Sylvain Viau has over 40 years of experience as a recognized manager and advisor in compliance, security, and IT procedure implementation, architecture, governance, and training, and is an ISO auditor. Mr. Viau holds multiple certifications, including 3 from ISACA International (CISA, CGEIT, CRISC) and the ISO Master recognition, as well as PECB-certified lead auditor and trainer (ISO 27001, 27005, 22301, 28000, 37001).
Retired from the Canadian Armed Forces in 2015 after 37 years of service, reaching the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and serving as a senior communications advisor to the National Director.
He has worked with all recognized verification standards and frameworks, including NIST, NERC, COBIT, ISF, PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISPF, and ISO, among the main ones.
In addition, he founded IIS (International Innovation Services) in 2017 and is the founder of the DSI (International Security Division), which brings together more than 12 security firms.
