Biographie
Susan is a tourism strategist and creative marketing specialist with over 30 years of experience in marketing, strategy development, and business management. Throughout her career, she has been involved in all aspects of destination management, from strategic planning and responsible destination management to government programs, including financing and human resources. Previously, Susan held the positions of Assistant Deputy Minister, Tourism Partnerships, at the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation, and Vice President, Visitor Experience, at Tourism British Columbia. More recently, she helped Destination BC create the provincial destination development program and develop provincial, regional, and local strategies in collaboration with Indigenous communities, residents, businesses, economic development organizations, government, and the tourism industry.
