Biographie
Rahat Yasir was selected in 2018 among the top 30 software developers under 30 in Canada. He has received the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award six times in the Artificial Intelligence category. He has years of experience in imaging and data analysis application development, cross-platform technologies, and enterprise system design. He is the author of the first digital book dedicated to Windows Phone 8.1 application development, « Windows Phone 8.1 Complete Solution », as well as « Universal Windows Platform – Complete Solution ». He worked as a data science and imaging researcher at the Plant Phenotyping and Imaging Research Centre (P2IRC) of the University of Saskatchewan. He was a lead AI developer at Immersive Design Studios, where he developed the world’s first AI-based video upscaling tool. He worked as an AI engineer at Intact Financial Corporation, where he designed production-level AI applications that process millions of requests every day. He was then a lead AI developer at OSEDEA, where he designed the next generation of AI solutions for the manufacturing sector. He currently works at CAE as a platform architect for AI and analytics in aviation, aerospace, defence and healthcare systems.
