Biographie
Lawyer and member of the Barreau du Québec, Nathalie Roy worked for over 30 years in the media sector as a journalist, news director, host, desk chief, editor-in-chief and news producer. Elected under the Coalition Avenir Québec banner on September 4, 2012, to represent the citizens of Montarville in the National Assembly of Québec, she was re-elected on April 7, 2014, and again on October 1, 2018. In opposition, she served as critic for Education, Culture and Communications, Justice, Women’s Issues, Immigration, Integrity and Laïcité, and for the Charter of the French Language. On October 18, 2018, she was appointed Minister of Culture and Communications.
