Biographie
Graduate of the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA) in Rabat (1974), Mr. Horani founded Hightech Payment Systems (HPS) in 1995, which he has since led as Chairman and CEO. A pioneer in the expansion of electronic payments in Morocco, he has succeeded in making this company, listed on the stock exchange since 2006, a flagship of the Moroccan economy and a major international player in the electronic payment industry.
He is a member of the CESE, appointed on February 21, 2011 as an expert.
He has been Honorary Consul of Singapore in Casablanca since July 2019. Mr. Horani was elected President of the CGEM for the period 2009 – 2012.
He was also a member of the High Commission for National Dialogue on Justice Reform, appointed in May 2012.
Previously, Mr. Horani had been elected President of the Federation of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Offshoring (APEBI) from January 2008 to May 2009.
Mr. Horani was awarded the Wissam Al Moukafaa Al Watania, Order of Grand Officer, by His Majesty King Mohammed VI (30/07/13)
